Shave at the Boerenmert Hapert

Shaving warmer, how many of you can remember using it or buying it for someone you love? As I get older I am starting to remember the oddest things, for example how my Dad whould warmup his shaving creams before triming his sideburns or beard. Now some of you can remember using shaving warmers and some of you have no idea what that is. So let me educate you, back in the good ole days of barber shops, most shops knew not to shave your beard with cold shaving creams, so the shaving creams were usually warmed before being rubbed on your skin.

Now some of you might have forgotten the experience, but I haven’t, even as a woman, I hate cold shaving creams and so before I rub any chaving cream on my skin (whether homemade or store bought) it has to be warm. Gone are the days of dunking my shaving creams in the sink to get them hot. I just found a good shaving warmer, and believe me when I say I love the experience. Now, no one interrupts Mama when she’s shaving. :)
